„10 Minuten Lesezeit“ heißt es auf dem Screen: Audrey Watters über den Behaviorism. In medienpädagogischen Lehrbüchern markiert er eine historische Station, eng verbunden mit dem Namen B. F. Skinner und „abgelöst“ durch Kognitivismus und Konstruktivismus. Nicht so voreilig, meint Audrey Watters, und zieht Verbindungen zu „personalized learning“, zu EdTech, KI und Algorithmen, zu Social Technologies und Facebook.

And I’d go one step further: you cannot understand the history of education technology in the United States during the twentieth century – and on into the twenty-first – unless you realize that Seymour Papert lost and B.
