Projektleiter Holger Hank schrieb mir vor einigen Tagen, dass die Deutsche Welle Akademie gerade einen offenen Onlinekurs für arabische Internetaktivisten organisiert. Und tatsächlich: Anfang November hat ein sechs-wöchiger Kurs begonnen, „to offer citizen journalists and digital media activists the opportunity to discuss and explore up-to-date ideas. The course, implemented through Internet videos, online discussions and on social media, is open to all“. Im Interview stellt Projektleiter Holger Hank Konzept und Idee näher vor. Und hier geht es zum Kurs selbst.

„What makes you think the MOOC format will work in North Africa and the Maghreb?

We at the DW Akademie and the Deutsche Welle know that a lot of younger people are really active online in this region. When we proposed the project concept, we received a lot of good feedback. I’m quite sure that there will be great interest and intensive exchange.“
