Donald Clark: „In over 30 years in the tech industry, I’ve never know a concept so opaque that caused so much fuss.“ Ja, es ist gar nicht so einfach, mit der Blockchain warm zu werden. Vor allem im Bildungsbereich gibt es keine Anwendungsbeispiele, die einleuchten und die da sind. (Okay, es gibt Nachrichten wie „World’s 1st blockchain university to begin teaching in 2019“, aber die bestehen vor allem aus Worthülsen und Versprechen  …) Es ist ein bisschen wie „Lösung sucht Problem“, meint Donald Clark und hält fest:

„A chain is no stronger that its weakest link and although Blockchain is a distributed, unhackable chain, it has weak links are outwith that technical chain – in terms of opacity, complexity, regulation, energy consumption, bandwidth needs, storage needs, and trust.“
